The 84-Day FIP Treatment Protocol
Treating FIP successfully requires consistent dedication. The standard protocol established by veterinary researchers involves a 12-week (84 days) continuous cycle of GS-441524 administration.
Key Guidelines:
- Same Time Daily: Administer the injection or oral capsules at exactly the same time every day. A variation of more than 2 hours can impact efficacy.
- Monitor Weight: Cats grow and gain weight quickly during recovery. Weigh your cat weekly and adjust the dosage accordingly.
- Dose Calculation: The dose is calculated based on FIP type. Wet/Dry FIP requires 6mg/kg daily, Ocular FIP requires 10mg/kg daily, and Neurological FIP requires 12-15mg/kg daily.
